Bikini poker game ended by police

It all started out so nice this week at ‘The Well Bar’ in Covina California: the girls on the picture above in their usual outfits, a good amount of booze and some No Limit Texas Hold’em. What more could you ask for?

Well, for starters it would have been nice for the twenty-or-so people that were enjoying the game to not get arrested. Because that’s what happened when the local police authorities conducted a raid after investigating the case -an illegal poker tournament with the female staff working in bikini’s- for over a month(!). Obviously, they really wanted to get to the bottom of this..

The police arrested 8 people in total. 5 staff members and the manager were arrested, plus 2 customers for outstanding warrants. They also confiscated $2,000 in cash, shuffling machines an other poker-related paraphranalia
