Daniel Kelly Wins WSOP Event #52 and becomes Newest Brunson 10 Member at
While the rest of the United States was celebrating the 4th of July, Doyles Room player and newest pro Daniel Kelly has won his first WSOP bracelet. The 21-year-old college student won World Series of Poker Event #52, a $25,000 buy-in tournament with a $4.5 million prize pool. Kelly has earned a WSOP bracelet, a $1.3 million first place prize, and a place on Doyle Brunson’s team of extraordinary young poker team.
Daniel Kelly has been competing with Faraz Jaka. David Sands and Michael Martin at this year’s WSOP for the 7th spot on Doyle Brunson’s team of super-talents-in-poker. Each player is awarded points every time they cash in a World Series of Poker event. The player with the most points at the end of this year’s World Series Of Poker stands to become The Brunson 10’s next member.
