This weekend, two unrecognizable men have robbed a charity poker tournament for the Red Cross organization in Norton Shores, Michigan. Two attackers with automatic guns, were caught on video while entering the game looking for some quick cash.
Between 30 and 40 people were playing a poker tournament to raise money for the American Red Cross, when the men -dressed in hooded sweatshirts- entered the game. Some people initially thought some kind of practical joke was pulled, but soon it became clear the robbery was serious. Volunteer Dan Boes was hit on the head with the butt of a gun by one of the robbers. Boes then sprinted out of the room calling 911.
Next thing, the intruders assaulted one of the players of whom they thaught he had a key to the safe in which the charity money was kept. The player told them they didn’t need a key to open the safe. The robbers then opened the cash box and eventually ran off with a ‘good amount’ of money. So far, no arrests have been made by the police. Here is the video of the robbery:
