Poker important in movie about Natalee Holloway
In the new televised movie ‘Justice for Natalee Holloway’ about the Joran van der Sloot and Natalee Holloway case, poker is an important part of the story. Van der Sloot was an avid poker player and met his second victim at the poker tables in Lima, Peru.
In doesn’t take long before poker is introduced in the movie; the second scene plays in the casino in Peru. This monday, the film had his premiere on Timelife (a US tv channel) and will be aired a few more times. Justice for Natalee Holloway is a sequel to the movie ‘Natalee Holloway’, which appeared on Lifetime two years ago and broke all records.
The role of Joran van der Sloot is played by actor Stephen Amell (see picture) who plays a poker tournament in a casino in Lima. He chats up a girl, takes her to her hotel room and… well the rest is probably known to all. The movie ends with Beth Holloway (the mother of Natalee) who visits van der Sloot in a Peruvian prison.
