Dutch Pokerstars Pro Lex ‘Raszi’ Veldhuis and French Pro Bertrand ‘Elky’ Grospellier have been good friends since years and are always needling each other. This resulted 2,5 years ago in an even-money kickboxing propbet.
The fight was postponed several times for different reasons (injuries, law problems), but yesterday the day was finally there. Check out a video of the fight between Raszi and Elky in HD:
Afterwards Veldhuis analyzed the match for a Dutch poker site. He told them how much he lived up to this fight and he mentioned the big role his trainer played (who usually trains professional MMA-fighters). Veldhuis thought the big difference between him and Elky was the dedication and mindstate.
What kind of prop bet will be next? We had the Ted Forrest weight bet, among many other original bets. This bet might have inspired other poker pros to come up with some cool new stuff!
