Over the years we had quite a few cheating scandals in poker. Think Ultimate Bet, Nick Grudzien from StoxPoker and Justin Bonomo. Now, there might be a new poker scandal in the making with Sorel ‘imper1um’ Mizzi being accused of multi accounting in online poker tournaments.
The discussion started when an unknown person posted a chat log on famous poker forum 2+2 between Mizzi and a friend in which imper1um is telling about a technique he found out to play with multiple accounts in the same tournament on one screen. Read the chatlog here. Do note that there is uncertainty about the authenticity of the chatlog.
Mizzi himself also responds to the allegations (scroll down to post 285). The bottom line is that he denies and that other people are jealous on his succes. He is also taking a swing at Shaun Deeb, who on his turn responds here (#371).
