Nice weekend for Phil Ivey | Poker Bonus Club Marawa

News·

The best poker player in world, Phil Ivey, had a nice weekend ‘at the office’ again. He banked a little under $200,000 in one weekend of online poker on Full Tilt. He started the weekend with some Limit Holdem against IHateJuice. In 200 hands he lost about $31K on stakes of $2,000/$4,000.

Ivey then recovered from his ‘small’ loss big time when he played 227 hands of $500/$1,000 Cap No-Limit Hold’em against riyyc225. $190,020 was the amount the unknown riyyc225 lost to the Full Tilt Pro.

Next it was time for some $500/$1,000 Cap No-Limit Hold’em action, only now full ring. Phil played only 40 hands but managed to win a nice $68,216, before playing some more Heads Up poker on the same stakes against ginette22. $47,770 was the net result for Ivey after 106 hands.

In his last session of the weekend, Ivey found a more stubborn opponent in Jungleman12. Well, stubborn is maybe a wrong choice of words since they only played 27 hands. But Ivey díd lose around $100K to online pro Daniel Cates, who is the next challenger of Tom Dwan in the Durrrr-challenge.

That was that for Phil Ivey, who decided to quit and add $200K to his winnings. He is now up $2,600,000 for the year in online poker and still has some work to do to keep up with Tom Dwan, who is currently up $3.9 million.
