Online poker traffic down for the week, Merge traffic up
News·
In comparison to last week, online poker traffic numbers are down 1.2%. From the top 10 poker rooms, 9 of them saw a decline while the Merge poker network saw an increase after reopening it’s doors to US players two weeks ago. The total increase for Merge since the re-open is 21%, of which 13% is from the past week.
If you are a US player looking for a room to play, we recommend Merge Skin Carbon Poker. With your first deposit you will receive a 100% bonus up to $600.
The rest of the top 10 poker rooms lost traffic as said, but not in big numbers. Party Poker remained its second place for the fifth week in a row, trying to shake of the iPoker network of Titan Poker. 888 Poker saw a sharp rise of 77% in online poker traffic this year and is at the fourth place. Closing the top 5 is the Ongame network.
Interesting fact is Pokerstars taking up three positions in the top 10 of biggest online poker rooms in the world. Because of regulation in France and Italy, the poker rooms in that market count as separate entities with their own player base. This results in Pokerstars.it taking 6th place and Pokerstars.fr taking the 7th spot.
