Tom Dwan about his WSOP bracelet bets and runner up finish | Online Poker Bonus

World Series Of Poker·

Tom Dwan tells about his WSOP bracelet bets and about his runner-up finish in Event 11.

Rumours go that Dwan would earn between $5 and $10 million when he would go on to win a bracelet during this edition of the WSOP. One of the bracelet bets is with business man/high stakes player Eli Elezra. Elezra told in an interview that will ‘Durrrr’ win a bracelet, he will get a whopping $1,8 million from Elezra. When Dwan doesn’t win a bracelet, Elezra will receive $600k. That’s not all, because the two also have a bet of $250,000 on every bracelet one of the two will win during the World Series of Poker this year.

For Elezra that was not enough, as he also bought Huck Seed’s bet with Tom ‘Durrr’ Dwan when Dwan was chipleader of the finale table with 9 people left. This bet was worth $100,000 with 3,25 to 1 odds.

Clearly, Tom Dwan has a lot more bets with different people. Last night there even was a ‘sit-down’ from the regulars in the Big game (Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson etc). They discussed if they needed to buy out of the bets, because a win from Dwan would mean that some players would go broke.

Mike Matusow was very relieved when Dwan got knocked out in the Heads Up stage by Simon Watt:

“They’re going to put you on the wall at Binion’s,” Matusow said. “‘Here’s Simon – he stopped every High Stakes gambler from going broke.’”
